The combination of whetstone and strop enables the blade to be sharpened and the sharpening burr to be smoothed off immediately afterwards. The stone is made of high-quality ceramic with a grit of approx. 3000# JIS for excellent sharpening. As with our strops, the leather on the back is made of cowhide nubuck leather (dark, approx. 20 microns). An ideal, universal combination for maintaining sharpness.
