The IBEX S features a traditional Solingen spring mechanism, as is particularly well known from the Hippekniep. The design remains similar: as with the locking IBEX, the spring is located on the outside and remains a visible part of the design. With the new slip joint variants with blade lengths of 6 cm and 8 cm, there are now two different mechanical versions within the IBEX series. They differ in terms of how they work, but follow the same design and craftsmanship principles. These IBEX versions are aimed at people who are looking for a smooth-running pocket knife for everyday use: for their pocket, for small tasks on the go, or for situations where an unobtrusive, reliable cutting tool is required.
