The blade of the parmesan- and cheese-knife made of stainless steel has got an undulated shape which allows a rolling motion at use. This is particularly very practical for hard rinded cheese as it enables to cut the cheese rind with few efforts.
The blade is not grinded as thin as our other Windmillknives. This is due to the knife’s function. If you break pieces of parmesan there has to be a certain stability so as to guaranty that the blade will not be damaged. But for the knife has got a double function – it is a parmesan- and cheese-knife – we have sharpened the blade stronger than you do usually for parmesan-knives.
